Roaming the ocean alone
Once masters of our oceans, sharks have been decimated at a rhythm of hundreds of millions each year. The Oceanic whitetip shark used to be one of the most abundant species of sharks. Seeing this shark alone in such a big ocean is disheartening. This shot was taken early in the morning when the sun was low. The hue of the water makes for a dramatic effect.
