I was standing next to a small Douglas fir tree across the street from a friend's house when I suddenly heard a bunch of cheeping. When I pulled back the pine needles I found this robin's nest with four hungry babies, crying to be fed. Mom and dad were nearby, anxiously flitting from branch to branch, but not wanting to approach with my so nearby. Once I realized what was happening, I quickly snapped this photo and then left them alone.
