My journey with this robin family took place in June of this year. Birds were continually building nests under our deck. My husband took one of the nests down, set it on a nearby table and the next day there were four eggs in it. A storm was approaching. I was worried that the eggs would fall and break in the wind. Knowing that moving a nest with eggs in it is illegal, I took the chance of moving the nest into a planter and placing it under the table rather than having the eggs fall and break. The next few weeks was an incredible journey from eggs to when the baby robins flew away.
