Rocca Calascio valley
The photo is a panoramic view at sunset over the valley below the mountain where the ruins of the Rocca Calascio fortress are located. Along the path to the top of the fortress is the church of Santa Maria della Pietà, erected in 1596 on the site where, according to legend, the local population had the upper hand over a band of brigands.
