Rock formation along the shore of Lake Ontario
Chimney Bluffs is a well-known landmark near Sodus Point, NY. The Bluffs were formed from drumlins, which were created by glaciers in the last ice age. The action of waves, rain, snow and wind are gradually wearing them down by an amount of 1 to 5 feet each year.
