18th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Rose Still Life
I found this rose growing on the campus of a local college. I was immediately drawn to the colors, layers and textures of the flower. I composed several compositions before settling on this one which I thought captured the beauty I saw in this flower.
