Roseat Spoonbill in Flight

The Roseate Spoonbills come into the Florida wetlands to mate. Normally they can be seen dredging thru the shallows with those long platypus bills of theirs. The pink colors are outstanding. If I see them flying they are usually too far away. But this one just popped up near me-and I had never seen such detail as that on it's back. And I had also never realized how wide a wingspan they actually had.
