On a multi-hour drive through Rothrock State forest, I came upon this clearing at the crest of broad mountain. This clearing, the product of a sub-terrain gas line, cut a yellow ribbon, end to end, through the purple forest. I had remembered unexpectedly crossing the line only a few weeks earlier on my first ever back packing trip. I had no idea of it's extent until this image was taken.
