Rothschild's Giraffe in Murchison Falls National Park

The Rothschild giraffe is a true giant, measuring nearly 20 feet (6 meters)in height. This adult female posed majestically as its family group moved through the grasslands of Murchison Falls National Park in Uganda. The Rothschild giraffe is one of the most endangered subspecies of giraffe, with an estimated 1600 individuals left in the wild.
