Rowing Through Venice

Something about Venice in the Spring leaves a feeling of calm beauty that lingers within the mind long after departing its gentle breeze and worn docksides. It is well known that Venice’s buildings held upon ancient wooden stilts are slowly being consumed by the lagoon that gives them their unique charm. Each sunset is one of what may be the city’s limited days, so as the sun garnished walls of red and peach with a golden glaze, and as the gondoliers fell into a scene that perfectly showed their daily cruise, my finger fell upon the shutter to capture what encapsulates the magic of Venice.
