It is held in Lalgola Ratha Yatra a historical locality within Murshidabad, Lalgola in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is a week long festival and a ground fair is held at the time people throng to have a share in pulling the long ropes (Rosshi) attached to the chariots of Lord Jagannath, Subhadra on the journey from the temple to (Masir bari) and back within 8th days end with Kartik Shukla saptami.
