This Royal Tern was among a flock of approximately 50 birds on the beach at sunrise. After a day or two of photographing them, they let me get very close and I noticed a lot of interesting behaviors. This individual carried his catch around like a trophy for quite some time; proudly offering it to his mates who weren't interested.
