Ruddy Shelduck Drake
During the migration season thousands of Ruddy Shelducks migrate south from Siberia, Mongolia, and China into South Korea. The males have a slight black ring around the base of their neck and are slightly thicker in body than the females. This drake was circling others already on the Gokgyocheon River outside of Asan when I snapped his photo.
