Rufous-backed Kingfisher

A small kingfisher which prefers the covers of the dense jungle than an open water space. They are usually seen sitting by small jungle streams or waterways, waiting for they prey of small fish or prawn. Due to it's colours, it is sometimes called a "flying carrot".
