November in Banff, Canada is known as the time of Fire and Ice. The lakes start freezing and the skies turn to fire. On our last morning in town, we finally witnessed this, as a blanket of snow left the area frozen, while the sunrise turned the sky to fire. I watched from a viewpoint as Mt. Rundle looked as if it was on fire.
