In Kyrgyzstan many ranchers/herders roam their livestock on public lands. The property is not fenced in and all members of the family help with feeding, milking, and herding the animals. I had seen this young boy helping guide some stray cows back to the herd earlier then he ran off to play in the wide open landscape of Kyrgyzstan.
