Pacu Jawi (Minang language) or Runway Cow is one of the cultural events of West Sumatra. This activity is usually done only to pass the time after the harvest coming or sometimes held three times a year before the planting season. Tanah Datar, there are four sub-districts Pacu Jawi maintain this tradition, namely: River Tarab, Rambatan,Limo Kaum, and Pariangan.
