Rural Hat Maker, Maras Peru
Teodosio Argandaño Caviedes is a traditional hat maker who has worked by hand in his small shop for over four decades. He's made over six hundred thousand hats in the old way. The hats are formed individually from a mold, ironed for shape and hand painted. They each have a buyer in line several months before being finished.
