There is quite a story behind this picture. I am an American medical student who finally accomplished my dream of trekking/photographing the Alps. While I was hiking through the Bernese Oberland Mountains in Switzerland in the pouring rain, I fell and fractured 2 of my ribs. The next morning the storm cleared for a few hours and I saw this rustic cabin up on the edge of a cliff and knew I had to photograph it, so I hiked for couple hours in spite of my recent injuries to get to it before the clouds rolled back in.
