Rwandan Hunter-Dancer

Employing local citizens for tourism helps reduce citizens dependence on turing natural environment to farms or poaching wildlife. By minimizing impact on the local "look" of communities and on wildlife habitat, sustainable travel preserves cultural and natural heritage while providing livelihoods. This dancer was part of a show for tourists before they embark on monkey and gorilla visits. They add a taste of local culture and enthusiasm to the experience of visiting amazing wildlife in the area. I set up on the side of the stage area to catch to profile of the wigs as they were flung by the performers.
