The photograph was taken at famous architect, Louis Kahn's globally acclaimed Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla California. The scientific research facility is brutalist architecture at its very best with clean lines and generous use of space, providing an immaculate interior courtyard. The impressive campus proves to be fitting for some of the most brilliant scientific minds in fields such as genetics, molecular biology, and neuroscience. The photo was inspired by my fascination of shapes, patterns, and angles found in architecture while appreciating the intellectual greatness of my current surroundings.
