Salt lake of Baskunchak

In Russia there is a salt lake where about 80% of the total salt production in the country is produced - Baskunchak. Just imagine: the thickness of the salt deposits on the lake reaches 10-18 meters, and the depth of salt here reaches 6 km! There is such concentrated and extremely pure salt that no bacteria are found in the lake. A constant wind blows here, gloomy clouds float above the sky, and the vast scenery is completely breathtaking...
