Salto do Prego Waterfall on São Miguel Island, Azores
After a challenging, uphill hike through the forest trails of Faial da Terra, hikers are rewarded with the stunning Salto do Prego waterfall. It cascades over what seem like ancient rocks, and dons a stunning shade of blue reminiscent of the North Atlantic Ocean that lies just a few kilometers to its south.
