Salvation Jane Bee

I was hiking in a conservation park in South Australia and saw a lot of bees on a large section of noxious weeds. The sun was shining and the weeds were so high and I normally would be disappointed to see these horrid, prickly and poisonous purple flowers but this bee was trying so hard to get into the freshest, unopened flower because clearly no other bees had tapped into this particular goldmine yet. I loved the tenaciousness of this girl and took her photo.
