Sami Children in the Swedish Lapland
The Samis are the indigenous people of Lapland and typically are reindeer herders. These Sami siblings were about to parade through the annual winter market in Jokkmokk with their family, wearing colourful traditional costumes, with reindeer pulling a sleigh. The Sami family took great pride in participating in the annual parade, which is a highlight of the annual winter market, and this year it was in its 409th year.
