I visited the USS Midway Museum in December 2019. I was in San Diego for work and had a break in my schedule. I remember walking up to the ship and being struck by its looming presence. The longest-serving aircraft carrier of the 20th Century, approximately 200,000 sailors served on the USS Midway between 1945 and 1992. As we made our way through the ship, I noticed the view from this particular window with the harbor and the Coronado Bridge in the frame. Traveling for work, I only had my cell phone so I waited until the area was clear and set the focus point on the window to ensure I got this shot.
