Across the Grand Canal lies San Giorgio which during the day offers wonderful views of the heart of Venice. This photo was taken with my small compact camera on my first visit to a European city. That evening we attended a wonderful concert of Vivaldi's Four Seasons at Chiese della Pieta - Santa Maria della Visitazione.
