I stayed for a week last summer on the Philippine island of Siquijor. The island is about one thousand kilometers south of Manila and accessible only by ferry. My hotel was on the northern side of the island, but for the sake of variety I took lots of my meals at different hotels along the western coast. This photograph was taken from the grounds of the Coral Cay Resort and Dive Shop. I arrived for dinner at their beachside restaurant about a half hour before sunset and walked a few meters to the beach to capture this image.
