15th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Travel
Sand Beach
Buck Island is a protected habitat near St. Croix. A boat ride to the island to snorkel at an underwater trail met with poor visibility and currents from a recent rain that were a little too strong for me. I’m glad that I had a tube to hand onto.
