Believe it or not, this photo was taken in Southern Colorado-- and if we were to pan to the right, the viewer would see the snow-peaked Rocky Mountains surrounding this geographical anomaly. I have many photographs showcasing the epic proportions of the Sand Dunes in Colorado, but I chose this image for the for the contours that make up the composition, and the textures that delicately trickle throughout it. I'm also not disappointed in the color palette.
