19th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Sand Forms No.12
While on a stroll along a beach near my home, I was struck by all the different patterns in the sand in this one area. There were ripples, veins, and delta like forms. The light was low on the horizon making for nicely sculpted forms.
