Sand of Death Valley
One of the most well known areas in Death Valley is Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes. The ripple patterned sand is best seen on weekdays, early mornings, and sunset, to avoid footprints of excited travelers. The beauty is not just climbing the bigger dunes. Seeking the smaller dunes, you still get sand in your boots.
