Sandhill Crane Migration #1
The annual Sandhill Crane migration takes place at the Whitewater Draw Wildlife Area in Southeastern Arizona each winter. Approximately 40,000 - 50,000 migrate to Arizona each year, with 20,000 - 25,000 cranes roosting at the Whitewater Draw Wildlife Area.
