We were enjoying the sunset from a dune in the middle of the Omani desert when all of a sudden the weather turned. While other travellers fled to the desert camp, I stayed behind to take some photos. All my photography gear and even my eyes were caked in sand, and I had irritated eyes for a few days, but the shots and the experience were worth it.
