Santa Cruz Festivities
The festivity of the Holy Cross marks the union of the pre-Hispanic peoples to Christianity during the conquest of America. Every September during the festival in the city of Queretaro, Mexico, thousands of dancers arrive from all over the country, dancing for days and presenting their best warrior costumes, feathers and instruments, as well as political mockery.
