Santa Isabel Retrocede en el Tiempo

It has always been my dream to be able to do things that have an impact on the depths of art. In my photography, I am very much influenced by the art of painting and I am very much inspired by paintings from different periods of history. This photo is inspired by a painting by Francisco de Zurbarán. This girl was a very different and very good person and she prevented the war between the two kings in her time. I would love to be able to pay homage to this successful woman of my time and I tried to write a story for her and keep her memory alive. The work of promoting peace is anything but a calm and quiet endeavor. It takes a clear mind, a steady spirit, and a brave soul to intervene between people whose emotions are so aroused that they are ready to destroy one another. This is all the more true of a woman in the early 14th century. But Elizabeth had a deep and sincere love and sympathy for humankind, an almost total lack of concern for herself, and abiding confidence in God.
