Santeria

Santería is popular throughout all of Cuba. La Habana has a high concentration of Afro-Cubans, and not surprisingly, a large number of Santeros. While here, you can sometimes see Santería these usually include dancing, chanting, and drumming. There are small side streets in La Habana that are lined with stands selling items used in ceremonies, including feathers, candles, bones, stones, herbs, and live animals.
