Sao Bento Station
This is a photo I took in the historic Sao Bento station in Porto, Portugal. Portugal has undergone dramatic and rapid societal change since the fall of Salazar’s dictatorship in 1974 and economic difficulties that have followed. During my time living in Portugal, I became fascinated with photographing the older generation, who seem perplexed and a little lost in a country where traditions and modernity co-exist, compete and clash.
