Sarajevo Rose

Sarajevo Roses are pockmarks resulting from mortar shell explosions in concrete that have been filled in with red resin as a remembrance in places where the explosion caused one or more deaths. This Rose's juxtaposition next to the church, which is riddled with bullets itself, was particularly poignant.
