Saved From the Waves
My partner and I were on a beach in Brazil, when he comes running up to me and says that he found a drowning bee. I followed him to where he had found it, and there it was - it looked like it had been hit by a wave, and washed up on the shore. It was soaking wet, and covered in sand. My partner didn't want to pick it up himself, but knew that I would save it. I gently coaxed the bee onto my hand, and it stayed there for probably 15 minutes - drying itself, and cleaning off sand. Eventually, when it was clean and dry enough, it flew away.
