20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Scarlet-backed flowerpecker

These photos were taken in a friend's garden, the bird's nest is about 5m away from the house. The garden allows all kinds of conditions for animals to live naturally (such as squirrels, birds, etc.). My camera is only about 4m away from the nest, shooting time: sunset with a black background placed behind the bird's nest, roughly 4m distance. In such conditions, the activities of the birds when raising their young will still proceed normally because they are used to the activities of the family close to them on a daily basis. We can still live friendly with wild animals if we know how to create a habitat for them.
