In one of the few tree-filled corners of the Serengeti, I found the elusive east african leopard resting on a fallen branch. Known as a ghost of the savanna, it’s difficult to observe during the day and even more photographed in the open. Yet here it was calm,scanning the savanna from his high vantage point, looking for his next prey.
