Global warming is an imminent threat to our existence. Sea level rise will eventually flood vast areas of populated land causing poverty, hunger, disease and los of life. Our chances to act are limited to NOW. This photograph was taken on the Island of Texel in Holland, which is even now protected from flooding by dykes. Global warming and sea level rises will flood this precious land.
