Sea smoke engulfing Thacher's Island barely exposing it

Due to the Polar Vortex of February 14th 2016, the air temperature was -26 degrees. When it fell upon the coast of Rockport that morning it created a thick wall of seasmoke that was so high it at times covered and hid both towers on Thacher Island. Here is a shot of the North Tower’s partial exposure and a flock of seabirds
