This photo features a grouping of sea stacks off of the southern Icelandic coast near Vik. It was shot in the summer in the dead of night when it never became truly dark, and was a specific landmark I wanted to capture thanks to inspiration from photographer Thomas Heaton. I had come to Iceland with my brother and this was one of the last spots we were able to check out during our five day trip. Iceland allowed me to capture photos not possible near where I live in Pennsylvania, and this photo specifically has quickly become a favorite of mine.
