View from the rooftops of Istanbul Packing up to leave Istanbul, we go on our hotel balcony one last time. It's our first time of meeting outside of Iran in our 4 years long distance relationship. First my partner's delayed manditory military service and then Corona restrictions had made it impossible for him to leave the country. My dad unexpectedly died from the coronavirus in April and coming back to Iran in summer has left me with mixed feelings. We embrace the fresh air and ease of the city. Now we see a flock of seagulls grazing the fresh morning sea.
