Living beside the spectacular coastline of Sydney's Bondi Beach, I never take the surrounding nature for granted. Often taking sunset walks, on this day I chose to head to the North end of the beach and spotted a local seagull chilling on top of a shower fountain. Camera in hand, I positioned myself to frame the gull in front of the setting sun, hoping to capture its silhouetted flight. Then, out of nowhere, another bird swooped in to take the spot! I could not believe my luck when I realised I had captured the pair so beautifully with their sun-kissed feathers in mid-flight.
