Searching for food in snow
Yunnan snub nosed monkey, a species endemic to China, inhabits the alpine dark coniferous forest belt at an altitude of more than 3000 meters. Its range of activities can range from 2500 meters to 5000 meters in the mountains. It feeds on pineapple, bamboo shoots, plant leaves, buds and flower buds.
