While on vacation, I took this photo while waiting to board the water taxi to West Seattle. I loved the color in the sky. The locals seemed equally enthralled with the sunset. An employee at the taxi dock invited me to stand on the dock when he saw me taking pictures and said he’d never seen a sunset as vivid as this. I had never seen anything like it but it seemed to be a rare treat for everyone that night.
