20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Seaweed
Taken at Southsea, my home City of Portsmouth England on a sunny day. This photograph shows seaweed caught in the light draped over a rock. Near the shore of the beach at Southsea, the glint of light reflecting of this seaweed on a rock caught my eye. Getting closer the texture appeared to create it's own abstract world. I quickly captured this world.
